Nomura's Tea Garden Mikasa-an "3D Mapping Hanging Scrolls: Summer"
A video installation using the tokonoma (alcove) of the "Mikasa-an" tea ceremony room attached to the Nomura Tea Garden Nomu Cafe in Bando City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The right side of a pair of hanging scrolls is a three-dimensional cube of this paper, with projection mapping. Four installations are shown for each season: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
The summer version expresses coolness and nostalgia with a motif of memories.
